You’ll need to get Young Zelda to Level 99, then you have the option to Enhance the Spirit. You can get the Zelda (Ocarina of Time) Spirit by Enhancing a Young Zelda Spirit. Or, you could use this Zelda Spirit as your Primary, then slot Sheriff and Pyre as your Supports to really deal some serious damage to Assist Trophies. This is actually a Primary Spirit that has the Assist Killer skill built into it, so you won’t even have to burn a slot on adding the skill (though she does only have two slots instead of three). There’s a third option for getting the Assist Killer skill: the Zelda (Ocarina of Time) Spirit. Pyra can also be obtained on the Spirit Board, but with almost 1,300 possible Spirits on the Board, your chances of finding her there are pretty small.

She costs a whopping 10,000 SP, so you’d better come prepared! (Sometimes, you can get the Spirit in a sale if you’re really lucky.) The Pyra Support Spirit is sometimes available at Anna’s Emporium, the shop in the bottom portion of the Light Realm in World of Light. The other Assist Killer option is Pyra, but she pretty much comes down to luck. If you’re curious about other chests in World of Light, by the way, you can check out my full guides to every chest in the Light Realm and every chest in the Dark Realm. Once you blow up the rock, simply pop open the chest and claim your prize: the Sheriff Support Spirit, complete with the valuable Assist Killer skill. You can do so with an explosive Spirit, such as Poppy Bros. In order to reach the chest, you’ll have to blow up a rock that’s in your way. The Kirby icon in the map below shows the exact location: This chest is located on the far left-hand edge of the map, north of the jungle and west of where you board the bus.

(You will, however, have to win several Spirit battles in order to clear the pathway there.) You’ll find the Sheriff Support Spirit in a chest in World of Light, so you won’t even have to win a Spirit battle to obtain it.

Ultimate that come with the Assist Killer skill, which lets you do extra damage against Assist Trophies. Thankfully, there are a couple Support Spirits in Super Smash Bros. Many a bro-smasher has gotten close to victory against a particularly tough Spirit, only to be brought down by an Assist Trophy at the last minute.

Assist Trophies can be a real bummer in the heat of a Spirit Battle.
